   Required Documents

1. Retirees
A clear copy of:
1.1. The passport valid for more than 6 months.
1.2. A 6-month bank statement for the applicant.
1.3. A valid health insurance certificate in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
1.4. The proof of the basic salary provided that it is 4,000 Bahraini Dinars or more.
1.5. The previous residence permit (If available).

2. Property Owners
A clear copy of:
2.1. The passport valid for more than 6 months.
2.2. A 6-month bank statement for the applicant.
2.3. Property Deed(s) in the Kingdom of Bahrain with a total value not less than 200,000 Bahraini Dinars.
2.4. A valid health insurance certificate in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
2.5. The previous residence permit (If available).

3. Highly Talented Individuals
A clear copy of:
3.1. The passport valid for more than 6 months.
3.2. A 6-month bank statement for the applicant.
3.3. A certificate proving that he is gifted.
3.4. A valid health insurance certificate in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
3.5. The previous residence permit (If available).

4. Residents (Employees and Retirees)
A clear copy of:
4.1. The passport valid for more than 6 months.
4.2. A 6-month bank statement for the applicant.
4.3. Proof of average basic salary is 2,000 Bahraini Dinars or more in the past 5 years of residency.
4.4. A valid health insurance certificate in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

5. Dependents
A clear copy of:
5.1. The primary applicant Golden Residency.
5.2. Copy of the dependent’s passport.
5.3. Proof of relationship with the dependent (i.e., spouse, children, and parents).

   Important notes

  • Others:
  1. The applicant is retired (not residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain) from any country in the world earning a basic salary not less than 4,000 Bahraini Dinars.
  2. Or the applicant owns a property or more in the Kingdom of Bahrain with a total value for all owned properties not less than 200,000 Bahraini Dinars when the properties were purchased.
  3. Or the applicant is one of the talented individuals.
  4. Or the applicant is an employee working in the Kingdom of Bahrain for a residency period not less than 5 years and an average basic salary not less than 2,000 Bahraini Dinars in the past 5 years of residency.
  5. Or the applicant is a retired resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain for no less than 5 years with an average salary not less than 2,000 Bahraini Dinars in the past 5 years.
  6. The applicant holds a valid health insurance.
  7. Dependent can include the primary applicant’s spouse, children, and parents.
