Promotional and Sale Campaign Requests

The Promotion campaign service, provided by Consumer Protection Directorate, allows the customers from the commercial sector to submit a request to get the approval for promotional campaigns and sale through the website. First step is to register though visiting MOICT website using the authorized person's Electronic Key (E-Key). Second step is to login using the same information used to register.

   Important notes

  • Readiness:
  • The applicant must have Ekey.
  • The applicant can be the CR authorized person or authorized by the CR authorized person.
  • CRs with status DELETED WITH PAYMENT or DELETED WITHOUT PAYMENT cannot apply for campaigns.
  • Exceptions:

  • Provide re-draw payment option online, as the current payment process is manual either by cash or Cheque.
In regards to the fees calculation which is applied on promorional campaigns only, initially it is based on no. of Days., No. of promotion types selected per application, and no. of raffle draws.
Basic Fees are calculated as follows.
Promotion Duration:
  • 01 – 30 Days (BD 50).
  • 31 – 90 Days (BD 75).
  • 91 – 180 Days (BD 125).
Fees increase if there are additional promotion types selected per application, for example if 2 promotion types are chosen then the fees double.
Further, if the promotion type is a Raffle Draw then additional fees are charged (adding to the above fees) based on the number of raffle draws (dates chosen in the system) and number of branches in the application.
Raffle Draw Fees:
  • 1 – 3 Branches (BD 30) per Raffle
  • 3 – 6 Branches (BD 40) per Raffle
  • 6 +    Branches (BD 60) per Raffle
