   Important notes

  • Readiness:
  1. The applicant’s weight should not be less than 50 kg
  2. The applicant should have good health
  3. The applicant should not suffer from any of the chronic disease such as Cancer, Kidney Failure, Epilepsy, Insulin-Dependent Diabetes Disease, Heart Disease, Hepatitis, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and Genetic Blood Diseases
  4. The applicant should have a light meal and drink plenty of fluids
  • Exceptions:
The applicant cannot donate more than 500 ml of blood
  • Others:
  1. The applicant can donate blood once every 3 months (4 times a year).
  2. The applicant can donate platelets once every month (12 times a year).
