This service is provided by the Ministry of Housing to Individuals requesting to obtain one of the housing services provided by the Ministry, such as:

   Service Terms

  • Age:
  • The applicant age should not be less than 21 years old and not more than 50 years old
  • 60 years old in case the request of Restoration Financing
  • Financial Information:
  • The monthly income when submitting the application and customizing the support should not be more than BD 900 and not more than BD 1,200 in case of requesting of a housing unit or ownership apartment
  • The monthly income when submitting the application and customizing the support should not be less than BD 320 and not more than BD 1,200 in case of requesting of a purchase financing or construction financing
  • The monthly income when submitting the application and customizing the support should not be less than BD 120 and not more than BD 1,200 in case of requesting of a Restoration Financing
  • The monthly income when submitting the application and customizing the support should not be less than BD 800 and not more than BD 1,500 in case of requesting of a Residential Coupon

   Required Documents

  • Documents required for each type of housing support:
  1. A copy of the marriage contract
  2. The original salary slip where the issuance date should not be more than one month
  3. Bank statement for the last 3 months including the international number
  4. In case of unemployment, a statement stating that the applicant did not obtain an insurance from the Social Insurance Organization
  5. In case of employment in one of the companies or Banks who provide the housing services or real estate loans, a statement stating that the applicant did not benefit from the employer

 

  • In the case of self-employment (the applicant or one of his family members):
  1. The recent salary slip of the applicant or a Commercial Registration of one of his family members from the Notarization Directorate
  2. Copy of the Commercial Registration
  3. Bank account for the last three months, with the Commercial Registration owner name
  4. The applicant personal bank account for the last 3 months
  5. Copy of the utilization of a house or a Residential coupon or title deed in case of request for Restoration Financing

 

  • Copy of valid passport and residence (for the foreign husband / wife) if the applicant married from non-Bahraini
  • If the applicant is a family head from the second category, all the mentioned documents above in addition to:
  1. Divorce document and children custody verdict
  2. Death certificate and the Obligatory Legitimacy
  3. Copy of the salary slip for the deceased

 

  • If the applicant is a family head from the third category, all the mentioned documents above in addition to:
  1. Death certificate and the Obligatory Legitimacy for the parents if one of them deceased
  2. Divorce document in case of parents divorce

 

  • Additional documents:
  1. Copy of the land document illustrates the site map, property number, ownership and the applicant name in case of Construction Financing application
  2. Copy of the shared property or land document illustrates the site map, property number, ownership and the applicant and his wife name in case of Construction Financing and Restoration Financing application
  3. Official authorization illustrates the mortgage of the land or property to Eskan Bank in addition to a copy of the property or land document in case of non-shared Construction Financing and Restoration Financing application but the land or property was shared between the couple
  4. Official authorization stating the mortgage of the property to Eskan Bank in addition to a copy of the property document in case of Restoration Financing application by one of the sons name ( for application from the third category)

 

  • The required affidavits:
  1. The couple approval affidavit for a loan sharing for the first category if the couple wishes to share in the loan application
  2. Affidavit for not to apply for a housing application for the first category in case of the application was applied by the wife
  3. Affidavit of the foreign spouse married to Bahraini women for the first category
  4. Commitment affidavit for the second category
  5. No-objection affidavit for the third category
  6. Commitment affidavit for the third category
  7. The guarantor affidavit to pay the monthly premium for the third category in case of applicant unemployment while a parent works

  • The applicant should be:

A Family

  • First category: the husband, wife and children, if any, taking into account that polygamy does not have the right to obtain more than one housing support
  • Second category: One of the parents with the a minor or more having the Bahraini nationality, also includes the family of a Bahraini wife married to a foreigner and have a Bahraini minor or more
  • Third category: the 21 years old unmarried son who lives with his Bahraini parents or with one of them, according to the following:
  1. His parents should not have previously benefited from the housing support
  2. The selection of the son should be according to the parents will or one of them
  3. This selection will prevent the son and the parents from applying to another housing support while this prevention will not be applied for the other sons if they complied to the conditions of formatting a family within the first and second category
  4. The applicant son may withdraw before the customizing to be replaced with another son which complies with the conditions. The replacement is allowed one time only
  5. In case the applicant son is married, the wife or the husband will be a member of the family

Head of the family

  • First category: Bahraini husband or Bahraini wife or both if they agreed upon this
  • Second category: One of the parents or the Bahraini husband or the Bahraini wife
  • Third category: The chosen son

 

  • Bahraini applicants who are married to other nationalities are not eligible to apply for electronic services.
  • The applicant should be the head of the family
  • The family should be a permanent resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain
  • In case the applying for a temporary apartment, the applicant should have an active housing support
  • If the applicant or a member from his family is a special needs person, the applicant should specified the special need in the application so the Ministry - according to the discretion of the housing committee- will provide the house with the preparation that suits the case
  • The applicant or one of his family should not own a real estate other the one to be restored in case of requesting a restoration financing
  • The applicant or one of his family should not own a real estate other the one to be constructed in case of requesting a construction financing
  • The applicant or one of his family members should not previously obtained a housing service provided by the government, the private sector, associations, charitable organizations or any other entity with the exception of government apartment service by rent it from the Ministry or from any other entity ( in the case of applying to all types of housing services except Restoration Financing)
  • In case of applying for restoration financing to restore a housing services provided previously by the government ( Construction Financing, Purchase Financing, Housing Unit) or by the private sector or associations or charitable organizations or any other entity, the applicant should have fulfilled 15 actual years from the date of obtaining the previous service

 

  • Temporary housing support entitlement conditions:
  • The applicant must be Bahraini
  • The applicant must be a head of the family
  • The applicant age should not be less than 21 years old and not more than 50 years old
  • The applicant should have a valid housing support
  • The monthly income when submitting the application and customizing the support should not be more than BD 600
  • The applicant or one of his family members should not previously obtained a housing service provided by the government or any other entity
  • The applicant or one of his family member should not have a house
  • The application should be approved by the Housing Committee
