Practicing Postal Service Licenses Renewal Request

This service is provided by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications to Businesses requesting to renew one of the following licenses:

  • International Courier and Express License
  • Local Courier and Express License.
  • Distribution of Newspapers and Promotional Materials Transport License.

   Payment

  • Payment Methods:
  • Cash , Credit Card , Cheque , Debit Card ,
  • Service Fees:
  • 5% of the total annual income which is not less than BD 500 for the local courier and express license
  • 10% of the total annual income which is not less than BD 1,000 for the international courier and express license
  • BD 500 for the transport license to distribute newspapers and promotional materials
  • Fine / Penalty:
  • Any person who operates a postal services business without a valid license commits an offence and is liable to a jail term or fine according to the post law number (49) for the year 2014 and the executive regulations accompanying with the law
