Cruise Trip Organising Office License Issuance Request

This service is provided by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce &Tourism to Businesses requesting to obtain licenses to open an office to organize cruise trips in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

   Required Documents

For the initial visit:

  1. An approval form from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce &Tourism’s official entities
  2. Copy of Identity Card and passport
  3. Article of Association draft (for Businesses)
  4. Prior approval from the General Directorate for Traffic
  5. Office address
  6. Copy of the boat or yacht registration ownership documents issued by the Coastguard
  7. Copy of the captain’s certificate issued by Coastguard
  8. Valid copy of the insurance certificate and the examination certificate of the yacht or boat
  9. Coastguard’s approval
  10. Copy of the qualifications and practical experience in the same field
  11. Bank statement which shows the financial position of the project

For the final visit:

  1. Commercial Registration
  2. Approval from all official entities

   Important notes

  • Readiness:
  1. Site should be located in a commercial area not less than 30 square meters
  2. Availability of maritime transportation facilities such as boats and yachts
  • Exceptions:
Must not add any other activity to the office unless it is in the same field.
