International Courier and Express License Request

This service is provided by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications to Businesses requesting to obtain an express transfer license which is a special license to transfer parcels, letters, documents and all that can be legally transferred outside Kingdom of Bahrain.

   Required Documents

  1. Application request for practicing postal service license form
  2. Copy of the Commercial Registration
  3. Articles of Association
  4. Copy of the applicant’s Identity Card
  5. Prices list
  6. Services list
  7. Rules and procedures of the complaint
  8. Act measures in neglected materials and reserved
  9. The latest report from a certified auditor
  10. Certificate of approval capital
  11. Any other document required by the Directorate
  12. Good conduct certificate

   Important notes

  • Others:
  1. The applicant will only pay BD 100 if he requested the following licenses in one application:
    • Express transfer license for documents, papers and parcels inside Kingdom of Bahrain (International)
    • Express transfer license for documents, papers and parcels inside Kingdom of Bahrain (Local)
    • Distribution and transfer of newspapers and magazines and promotional materials transport companies license
  2. The license will be cancelled if the applicant did not begin the licensed work within 6 months from the date of issuance

  • Any person who practiced a postal services business without a valid license commits an offence and is liable to a jail term or fine according to the post law number (49) for the year 2014 and the executive regulations accompanying with the law
