Applicant

Visit the Labour Market Regulatory Authoritys website to fill and submit declaration form along with all the required documents and information from the Expat Management System.

Sign the form and submit it to at Labour Market Regulatory Authority through uploading it in the Expat Management System.

Visit the Customer Service Center at Labour Market Regulatory Authority after three days from the time of submitting the application with the required document to cancel the permits.

Ensure all required documents and information are complete. In case the submitted documents and information are incomplete, the application will be rejected and thus returned to the applicant to complete the missing documents and information.

Copy of the termination declaration form
Copy of expatriate employee’s work permit
Copy of dependents’ residency permits
The original passport for the expatriate employee and dependents

Important notes

Others:

The Business Owner must not have previously notified the Labour Market Regulatory Authority regarding the employee’s absence from work
If the work permit expired, the employer or authorized person must check with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs to complete the procedure of cancelling the work permit
Employee must depart Bahrain within 30 days from the cancellation date
