Endowment (Waqf) Certificate Issuance Request

This service is provided by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf to Individuals requesting to issue an Endowment (Waqf) Certificate such certificate allows it possessors to allocate properties to Mosques, Maatem, Hawza, Holy Quraan teaching centers as Waqf.

   Required Documents

  1. Endowment application form
  2. Copy of the title deed of the money to be endowed
  3. The original document (Certificate) of the property to be endowed
  4. Copy of Identity Cards or passport of endower
  5. Copy of Identity Cards or passports of the beneficiary
  6. Letter from the endower entity illustrating it desire to endow
  7. Copy of the letter regards obtaining the approval of the Minister of Justice and Islamic Affairs, clarifying the type of money, and the beneficiaries, as well as the entities that will manage the benefits, if it’s a charitable endowment type.
  8. Copy of the religious ordinance
  9. Approval letter from the mortgage entity
  10. Copy of the power of attorney
  11. Written approval from the Ministry of Housing if the property is a housing unit
