Noise Certificate Issuance Request

This service is provided by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications to Businesses and Governmental Entities requesting to issue a noise certificate for any registered aircraft.

Applicant

Visit the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications to submit all the required documents and information.

Ensure all required documents and information are complete. In case the submitted documents and information are incomplete, the applicant will be notified by telephone to complete them.

Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications

In case the submitted documents and information are complete, contact the applicant to inform him with the approval of the request and to set up an appointment to check and inspect the aircraft.

Check and inspect the aircraft and ensure it meets the required conditions and standards. In case the conditions were met, send an invoice to the applicant to pay the fee. In case the conditions were not met, reject the application.

Pay the fees.

Issue or renew the required certificate and inform the applicant to collect it.

Visit the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications Aeronautical Licensing Directorate to collect the certificate.

The certificate will be issued only if all payments are made.

Application form for Noise Certificate
Records of the noise levels of the aircraft
Each application should include with regards to the new aircraft:

A statement, signed by the exporting authority that the aircraft conforms to a design approved by the BCAA
The noise information determined in accordance with the noise certificate applicable requirements

With regard to used aircrafts:

The noise information determined in accordance with the noise certificate applicable requirements
Historical records to establish the production, modification, and maintenance standard of the aircraft

Important notes

Readiness:

A noise certificate will be issued for an unlimited duration and will remain valid if it was:

Compliant with the applicable type-design, environmental protection and continuing airworthiness requirements
The aircraft remains on the Kingdom of Bahrain’s register
The certificate is not being surrendered or revoked

Others:

The statements referred in the documents subparagraph (4) (i) and (ii) shall be issued no more than 60 days before presentation of the aircraft to the Authority
