Hotel Apartment Establishment License Issuance Request
This service is provided by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce andTourism to Businesses requesting to obtain a license to build a hotel or furnished apartments which could be up to twenty apartments or thirty apartments or more than thirty.

Required Documents
For the initial visit:
- An approval form from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce &Tourism official entities
- Copy ofthe Identity Card and passport
- Articles of Association draft(Businesses)
- Copy of the land/property ownership
- Aerial Map of the site
- Written consent from the property owner if leased
- Feasibility study of the project includes:
- Details about the project
- Start date and end of the project
- Project cost
- Proportion of employment
- Copy of the project owner’s or manager’s qualifications and practical experience in hotel management
- Bank statement showing the financial position of the project
For the final visit:
- Commercial Registration
- Approval form from all official entities
Important notes
- Readiness:
- Minimum land area of 1,500 square meters
- The hotel apartment should be located in a tourist or commercial area approved by the Directorate of Tourism Affairs
- The building must comprise a minimum of 15 apartments for it to be considered as hotel apartments
- The total area of parking spaces should equal to 200 square meters and one parking should be allocated for each apartment
- The lobby area should be a minimum of 20 square meters
- Others:
Accommodation should be charged on a daily or weekly basis.The Building should include a reception, gym and swimming pool.
