   Important notes

  • Readiness:
  • The student must be a full-time student in the original university
  • The general secondary certificate that the student has obtained (literature, science, commercial, industry/ technical, …etc) must be accepted by the program that the student wants to transfer to
  • The student must have successfully passed 30 credit hours or their equivalent in their original university and his cumulative GPA is not less than 2.33 out of 4 (C+) or its equivalent in other academic grade systems
  • Exceptions:
  • The student must not have been suspended from any program at the University of Bahrain
  • The student must not have been suspended in the original university for more than one semester at the time of requesting the transfer
  • The student must not have had any punitive procedure taken against him from the original university
  • If the student has graduated from one of the programs that award Diploma/Associate Diploma offered by the University of Bahrain and his cumulative GPA at that time did not qualify him to be admitted to a Bachelor degree program, that student is not allowed to transfer to the University of Bahrain again
  • Others:
  • The required certified hours which should completed in University of Bahrain must be not less than 50% from the number of total required hours for the graduate from the academic program that he requested from University of Bahrain
  • The Deanship of Admission & Registrationwill decidefortransfer’s requests competitively, according to the general conditions for the transfer and special condition for the colleges
  • The acceptance of the student conditioned with his study in the semester that he accepted in it, and his acceptance will be canceled in the University if he did not study in the same semester that he accepted in it
  • The transferred student should request an equivalence between the subjects that he studied outside the University during two weeks from his acceptance in the University, and he cannot request any equivalence action after this
  • The concerned department will evaluate the academic record for the student and show the courses that can be exempted from according to the courses equivalent conditions
