The Child Welfare Home (Batelco Home) is a social institution affiliated to the Ministry of Labour and Social Development to care  children with unknown  parents, orphans and children from  broken families up to the age of 15 years. Followed by Boys Welfare Home that  provides care services for boys (with unknown parentage) who are over 18 years of age. The Board of Directors of Batelco Child Care House contributes to the financing of living, social, health, psychological and recreational services for them, and the provision of adequate temporary housing until the end of education and self-reliance with training and provision of job opportunities for them.
