This service is provided by the Ministry of Works to Businesses wishing to obtain approval on the materials to be used for governmental projects supervised by the Ministry.

Applicant

Visit Ministry of Works website to submit the request to assess the material along with all the required documents and information electronically.

Ministry of Works

Review the application and ensure that all the required documents and information are complete.

Applicant

In case the submitted documents and information are incomplete, send an official letter to the applicant to complete the missing documents and information. The applicant will be given a 3 weeks period to submit the missing documents and information before rejecting the application

Ministry of Works

In case the submitted documents and information are complete, call the applicant to arrange a date for a site visit or to obtain a sample of the material for the evaluation.

Provide the Ministry with a sample of the material for evaluation.

Ministry of Works

Conduct the necessary tests and assessments on the sample. In case the results were negative, an official letter will be issued with the reasons of rejection.

Ministry of Works

In case the results were positive, the Material Compliance Certificate will be emailed to the applicant. The entity and materials will be listed in the ‘Pre-Qualified List of Materials’ on the Ministry of Works website.
