Digital-First Public Services

Enhancing citizen services using digital tools to ensure equity, user experience, and SDG alignment.

The Digital-First Public Services policy is a key component of the Bahrain government's commitment toward putting the people first when designing and implementing government policies and services. With the advancement of technology and people's demands for improved public services, the Digital First Policy mandates government entities to design public services digitally first, then design it for other channels to ensure inclusiveness and leave no one behind. By prioritizing the use of digital technologies, the National Portal provides a single platform for all government eServices, making it easy for citizens, residents and businesses to access and utilize various government services in a one-window.

One of them is “Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering.
