Bahrain has made significant progress in its digital transformation journey, focusing on providing constituents with easy and efficient access to government services, including the introduction of a "Platform as a Service (PaaS)" (PDF, 861KB, 34 pages) offering. By leveraging cloud computing services, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s government has established a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective platform to meet citizens and residents’ needs.

Additionally, the National Social Health Insurance Program (Sehati) overseen by the Supreme Council of Health, the Financial Support Services System provided by the Ministry of Social Development, the National Enterprise Architecture (NEA) initiative between the Information & eGovernment Authority and the Ministry of Finance & National Economy and provided by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority have all moved towards a more digitized and user-friendly approach.
