Moving to a new address/reconnecting the service (to the owner)

Requesting to register the electricity and water bill in the name of the customer, after purchasing the new property, and reconnecting the electricity if necessary

Service Conditions

  • Payment of the outstanding balance on the new owner if any
  • Payment of the outstanding balance on the property if any

Required Attachments

  • Electricity, Water, Municipal Rates Agreement form (Applies only for applying requests physically via Customer Service Centers and via the Virtual Center)
  • ID Card reader printout, or a two-sided copy of , or a copy of the commercial registration certificate (for Bahraini and Residents) or a passport (For Non-Residents)
  • Copy from the title deed or sale agreement
  • Photo of the Electricity meter and Water meter
  • Official IBAN Certificate

Service Processes

  • Book an appointment for “Customer Services” via the appointment booking app Skiplino or via EWA’s website
  • Proceed to the selected customer service center

  • Enter using your ekey
  • Select individual section
  • Select Electricity and Water Authority
  • Select the electricity and water services and click on "Start the service"
  • Request to move to a new address
