Newborn Distinctive ID Issuance

This service enables individuals to select a distinctive personal number for newborns from 3 categories.

Service Conditions

  • It will not be acceptable to keep any distinctive number for another baby.
  • The baby must be born to a mother with a personal number.
  • The distinctive number must be chosen no later than one month after the date of birth.
  • The value of the distinctive number issuance service fee is non-refundable.
  • The applicant must inform the hospital of his intention to issue a unique personal number to his newborn before filling out the newborn notification form, so that the hospital does not issue an ordinary personal number for the newborn.

Legal Regulations

  • Decree No. (1) issued in 2012 regarding fees for publishing services, publications and e-services.

  • 100 BD : The first category
  • 75 BD : The second category
  • 50 BD : The third category
