Issuance of a graduation certificate in exchange for a lost or replacement certificate

Issuing a replacement of degree certificates for students who have lost them. The process is completed by attending the university in-person.

Service Processes

  • The student applies for a replacement of a degree certificate by filling out the certificate request form and sending it to the Department of Admission and Alumni Affairs
  • The Department of Admission and Alumni Affairs will send a bill to the student for BD 50, payable to the University’s Department of Financial Affairs and Budget
The student’s verified graduation status is attached to the request form, and in coordination with the Deanship of Admission and Registration, an authenticated replica of the degree certificate will be issued. The process is as follows:
  • Issuing of a lost degree certificate: this will have a new certificate number and be stamped with the lost replacement stamp
  • Issuing of a substitute certificate: in cases where a new certificate is being sought because the old one has been damaged or the graduate’s name has been changed, the new certificate is stamped with the replacement stamp, and the original is revoked
