Issuance of Travel Permit
This service is for the children of Bahraini citizens born outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to Bahraini citizens whose passports are damaged or lost abroad through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website and the National Portal.
Service Conditions
- Application must be submitted by the father or an authorized person at any of the service centers, for newborns and individuals with limited capacity.
- Individuals whose passports are lost or damaged can submit the application at any embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad or via bahrain.bh
Required Attachments
Required Document personal attendance
- Service application form.
- A new, clear, colored frontal photo 4x6 with a white background.
- Original birth certificate and a copy of it and certified copy from the relevant authorities.
- Original passport of the father and mother and copies of them.
- The original marriage certificate and a certified copy issued by the official authorities.
- Death certificate, in case of death of the father or mother, and a copy of it (if any).
- The original power of attorney and a copy of it.
- Any other documents that may be requested by the Department.

Service Processes
- Fill out sign the application form, signing the acknowledgment by hand
- Access the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs website
- Select the department, followed by the type of service, and fill out the required fields
- Attach the required documents, including the service declaration form
- If the application is accepted, a text message and an email will be sent containing a payment link
- After payment is received, a text message will be sent containing the payment receipt
- When the travel permit is ready for collection, a text message requesting the applicant to attend the Isa Town branch will be sent. The applicant must present the original documents that were attached upon submission of the application
