Change of Occupation for Expatriates Authorized to Reside in the Kingdom of Bahrain

Through this service, employers can apply to change the occupation for the expatriate employees that are authorized to reside in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Service Conditions

  • For occupations that require specialization (medical occupations, educational occupations, and engineers), the applicant must submit the approval from the concerned entity.
  • The work permit must be valid.

Required Attachments

  • Employment contract (Must contain Arabic portion)
  • Approval from the concerned entity for specialized occupations (Medical occupations, educational occupations, and engineers)

Fees

  • 10 BHD : Service fee (Change of occupation fee will be added to the establishment’s monthly invoice).
